College Softball in a Dome
Outside, the temperature was in the teens, but it was warm inside the Dome in Rosemont as 11 women's collegiate softball teams opened their 2022 season. The four-day DePaul Dome Tournament is a yearly, mid-February event.

My Weekend with the Chicago Dogs
I spent much of my weekend with a bunch of Dogs — the Chicago Dogs, an independent baseball team. The Dogs won two of three weekend games which also featured live music on Friday, an Elvis-themed Saturday with fireworks, and pre-game, on-field fun with the team on Sunday.
