Phillies Game Fun
Over the weekend my family and I went to the Phillies game on Saturday. During the day we were a little nervous the game was going to be cancelled because the weather wasn’t looking that great. It was raining and storming a little, but eventually it cleared up and we were able to attend. Thankfully, the storm relieved some of the heat and humidity that has been around the past couple weeks, and it was actually a beautiful night for some baseball.

Baseball is officially back in the city of Philadelphia, and fans couldn’t be more excited about it. Yesterday’s shut-out victory against the Mets marks eight wins in a row for the ball club and puts them 1.5 games above the Mets for first place in the division. The game yesterday was also the city of Philadelphia’s most packed sporting event since before the pandemic started last March. It was clear there was true electricity in the air at the ballpark yesterday; I wish I was there instead of watching from the couch.

Now that it is officially summer, I am starting to get excited about some of the things I have planned for the rest of the summer. Although I love low-key summer days hanging out in the pool and relaxing, you still have to take advantage of summer and all it has to offer.
