Looking Back on My 2022 Travel Memories

After looking at different destinations and travel options for an end-of-year trip for nearly two months, my fiancé, Nathan, and I decided to skip the big trip this year as we start getting ready for our wedding and focus on a few smaller trips next year. However, I do happen to have one more business trip for the year that actually lands on my birthday week, so that makes missing the trip an easier decision.

Saturday Night at Tres Sirenas

As mentioned before, I enjoy waking up early, and contrary to what you may think, being on vacation isn’t the exception. Granted, there are days when sleeping in is non-negotiable and that extra hour or two are detrimental to the day ahead, but having extra time to ground myself before socializing, planning and exploring enhances my travel experience. One of my favorite things about this trip — and particularly at this property — was being able to keep up with the daily practices that make my days better and more fluid, like sunrise meditations (especially with the view we had) and working out in the mornings, which I did on three out of the four days of our stay.

A Taste of Mazatlán

The second port of call on our Princess cruise to Mexico in March was Mazatlán, and as with Cabo San Lucas, we were blessed with beautiful weather. Unlike Cabo, Mazatlán boasts a deep port and a modern cruise terminal, so once the ship was tied up, we were able to come and go without having to catch a tender to shore.
