I am the newest member of the Global Traveler family. The past three weeks held quite a few changes for me. I completed my previous position at another company, moved to a new city, packed up my old apartment and started in my role here as account executive.

My arrival at the company was met with smiles, a firm handshake and endless chances to grow. The staff and I went to lunch and dinner (both equally delicious). The act of sharing a few meals with me created a warmth and sense of inclusion I was grateful for. Though I have only known the staff here for a week or so, I feel I have a home here.

Employers should always use those initial days as times to establish that “home as you roam” concept. I feel it is always important to care about both your clients and your staff as a professional family.

Global Traveler tailors to business travelers who create their home for a day or two wherever they need to roam. A house is not a home unless you sense the care put into it or kindness. I am honored to be welcomed to the Global Traveler home in Yardley, Pennsylvania, and I look forward to future adventures and memories in my new “home where I roam.”
