Football season is officially here! Training camp started for teams all throughout the league a couple weeks ago in preparation for the start of the season on September 8.

As someone who lived outside of Philadelphia my whole life, to no surprise I grew up in a family of die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fans, making me one myself. Every Sunday (and occasionally a Monday or Thursday), my Dad, my brothers and I watch the Eagles games in hopes that they beat their opponent that week.

I am excited for this season, as the Eagles had a great off-season filled with smart drafting and beneficial trades. I have a feeling they are going to be pretty good this year. There have been great reports coming from training camp about how the starters are playing well and perfectly executing the drills. There has been speculation about quarterback Jalen Hurts among Eagles fans; some think that he is not what the franchise needs, and others think he’s perfect for the Eagles, so he has a lot to prove and has been doing well in the pre-seaso; let’s hope this continues into the actual season.

I love getting dressed in my Eagles attire on game days; no matter what the weather is, I have something to wear: from sweatshirts to t-shirts to tank tops and even hats! A couple months ago I stumbled across a small-business Instagram account called @cgstudioshop that sells cool game-day apparel. Courtney has a strong presence on Instagram and Facebook as well as Etsy. She mainly sells Philadelphia-inspired gear but has some surrounding towns’ gear as well. I recently purchased a tie-dyed Eagles tank top and a bleached bucket hat — she even threw in a “Sundays Are for the Birds” koozie in my order. I have been eyeing the bucket hats on her site, and I cannot wait to rock this one during the season. Go give her a follow if you are looking for unique, fun game day apparel.
